Sugarplum Workshop πŸπŸ©°πŸŒŸπŸ§šπŸΌβ€β™€οΈ

Updated: Nov 13, 2020

Many major Ballet companies and schools around the world have cancelled their season due to COVID, which sadly means no Nutcracker...but you can keep this magical story alive this holiday season by joining Desiree's live online Sugarplum Workshop accompanied by pianist, Alice Hargrove!

This workshop is for experienced teen/adult dancers (with at least 2 years of ballet training) and it will run for the first 3 Tuesdays in December (12/1, 12/8, & 12/15) from 7:45-8:45pm EST. Each class will start with a quick 15-20 minute barre to warm up the body and the rest of class will be devoted to learning a revised version of the Sugarplum variation that'll be "small space friendly!" There are several different versions of this variation, so Desiree will be putting together her favorite bits and pieces from each version, as well as include some of her own choreography to accommodate our small at-home spaces. Let's dance find our inner Sugarplum Fairy!
