Hello Dancers! Let’s venture to the Land of the Sweets from The Nutcracker; Act II and learn a lovely version of “Marzipan!” This is also known as, “Dance of the Reed Pipes, and “Dance of the Mirlitons.”
I’ll be teaching you a magical blend of my own choreography mixed with NYCB / Balanchine embellishments. The whole variation is around 2.5 minutes and will be taught over three 90 minute sessions on Zoom!

WHAT THE WORKSHOP INCLUDES
Three 90 minute sessions
Proper 20-30 minute barre warm-up at the start of each session
Access to my unlisted instructional YouTube video that you can use whenever you’d like to practice at home
Final session on 2/8 will include our “performance recording!” IF YOU WANT, we’ll break up into several groups and each group will get to “perform” the variation which will be recorded and posted as an “unlisted” video on YouTube - meaning, ONLY YOU and those who you share the link with, can view the video.
As a special offer, you can book a FREE 20 minute 1-on-1 zoom session with me in which you’d “perform” the full variation for me and I’ll offer you any feedback, corrections, and artistic guidance. You can book this session whenever you’d like - it’s encouraged to book it either before the last session of the workshop OR after the workshop is complete.
